Description
A to B has been published since 1997 and now runs to over 140 issues. Early road-tests are surprisingly useful for comparing spec, and judging the level of enthusiasm for a new or revamped model. Put together, the PDFs can be searched as a group for a key word: ‘Dahon’ say. It’s an invaluable way to follow a story through the years.
Even if you’re not in the market for a new machine, the older issues can be a hilarious read. We weren’t always as po-faced as we are today, and were often censured for nudity and some questionable, but entertaining editorial decisions in younger, wilder days.
Not all have back issues have yet been digitised, but we’re gradually working backwards, and we now have a digital archive of more than 90 issues. Files arrive by WeTransfer, which has allowed us to lower the price to a modest £20, or less than 25p per issue… a fraction of the normal digital price.
