The once clear distinction between car and bicycle seems to have blurred further, with the arrival of the quadricycle.  We’ve tried rickshaws before, but early examples of the quadricycle, like the Renault Twizy, are much more car-like. Intriguingly, the legislation allows for them to get smaller and lighter, heading down towards the familiar Powabyke-style electric tricycle, but four-wheeled, faster and better equipped. Maybe the Sinclair C5 really was ahead of its time, and quadicycles are set to make a bit of a comeback…
Whatever its category, the Twizy is hugely entertaining, practical in some respects, and we’re interested to hear your views.We’ve also visited a segregated bus/cycleway. Is this the future? See what you think.
