When we published an Electric Car Special in A to B magazine, we were pleasantly surprised to find it not only sold very well, but met with a lot of praise from those new to the concept and desperately looking for information. Like us, they had no clear forum for information. User Groups tend to be technical, inward-looking and even dismissive of ordinary people seeking advice, and the car magazines are mostly hopeless. The best motoring journalists do their best to be helpful, but as a rule the magazines just don’t get it, talking the same tired old talk about 0-60 times and handling.
So we brought together the experiences of others new to electric cars and motorcycles in a digital format. Why go digital? The electric vehicle world is changing so rapidly, it seemed the most sensible way to go. Chargers, batteries and vehicle spec are being upgraded all the time, so ‘We Bought One’ will be re-issued at regular intervals with updates and revisions
