A to B Free-ads for pre-loved folding bikes, especially Brompton, electric bikes and just about anything you want to sell. All items are listed on this page and in the following paper and digital editions of A to B magazine. Ads appear here immediately, and remain listed on the web pages until the next issue of the paper and digital magazine: late-February, late-May, late-August and late-November. If the item hasn’t sold, simply re-book in the free-ads pages of the following magazine, there’s no fee.
The right bike can sell very fast. How about 12 hours: “Wow, its been pretty hectic on the ‘Selling Bromptons’ front. Both are now sold. Many thanks for putting the advert on the website.”
Just send the wording by email to atob@atob.org.uk and feel free to include a photo, although space for a photo is not guaranteed, especially in the magazine.
Small ads, small print
You can advertise whatever you want in our free-ads, but the best results tend to be for popular folding bikes like the Brompton, Dahon or Bike Friday, or electric bikes, like the Giant Lafree or Kalkhoff.

FOR SALE: 25th January 2025 Greenspeed Brompton front drum-brake. This is one of a small batch produced by Greenspeed Australia in 2005-2006. They were re-machining Sturmey-Archer drum brakes to 100mm width to suit their 16-inch recumbent trikes, and as there was demand they produced a few narrower ones to fit the Brompton front wheel dropouts (typically 72mm). This actual brake was reviewed in A to B 48.
A front drum has several advantages… the rim lasts forever, the brake effectively never needs adjusting, overheated rims and tyres on long-descents are a thing of the past.
